Kingfisher Trust donates to CRD, URD

Kingfisher Trust a non-political and sectarian NCO recently donated medical equipment. a generator, corrugated iron sheets and rhun palms to Bansang Hospital and schools in Upper River Division.

According to Simon B. Wezel founder and secretary general of Kingfisher Trust discussions were held with the chief excutive of the ang hospital Dr.Larnusa Jobarteh to donate se‘eral computers for the use in the hospital as well as providing extra computer and Internet facilities in the Bansang area.

Mr. Simon also, disclosed that talks have also started in Basse with the Saint. Georges Upper Basic School as a good starting point for computer studies, as they would open the facilities to nonstudents of the Basse area. Finally, according to Mr. Simon, Kingfisher Trust hopes to concentrate on the donation of computers (which should be arriving from Europe in late September) to the Bansang and Basse areas
